Child & Family Mental Health Services
The Parent-Child Center, Inc., a member of Community Partners, is a community-based non-profit organization that has been offering services and support to children and families in Palm Beach County since 1979.
We believe it is a fundamental right for all children to have the basic support that ensures healthy physical and social-emotional development. The best place to raise a healthy child is a healthy family, so we support the child within the context of the family, and the family within the context of the community.
Our professionals partner with families to find solutions. We approach difficult issues in a positive way by focusing on the strengths of the child or family and by building on them. Our experienced staff have helped many families to take charge of their lives and help resolve even the most distressing situations.
In response to unmet needs within our community, Community Partners has made an impact by focusing on quality in our core programs and responsively addressing the needs of children and families within our community. Our programs are based on research and best practices in the area of mental health.
Children thrive in a home committed to learning, safety, health and trust. That is why we focus on early childhood development, social/emotional well-being and proper parenting. We also specialize in treatment for depression, anxiety, and other disorders for troubled children and teens so they can achieve success in school and meet important life milestones. Our programs have helped fill critical service gaps in the community, creatively utilizing limited resources to do everything necessary to provide services that help children and families succeed.
Child & Family Mental Health Care programs include: Counseling and Therapy, Crossroads, Juvenile Justice Mental Health Program, Parenting/Triple P Program, Infant Mental Health/Early Development, Coordinated Trauma Care, Partners for Prevention (child welfare diversion), and Targeted Case Management.
