Clinical Training Program

A learning organization, Community Partners prides itself in helping therapists and case managers evolve into confident, experienced and well-trained service providers who are knowledgeable regarding the system of care in Palm Beach County.

We have implemented a specialized therapeutic training program specific to the vulnerable populations we serve. Our Clinical Training program teaches specific tools which assist clinicians in embracing Community Partners’ holistic approach, thereby ensuring effective collaboration with our clients.

Trained in the PCOMS models, our clinicians focus on a client-directed approach to treatment enabling clients to have a greater sense of ownership in their therapy.

The evidenced based intervention (MATCH) is utilized to allow the clinician to maintain both steady engagement and progression of treatment while also maintaining structured sessions and embracing a variety of different techniques.

Community Partners also embraces the TF-CBT model, empowering clinicians to engage with a high-risk population coping with complex trauma. Clinicians receive supervision through several venues, including individual supervision with a qualified supervisor, group supervision with a licensed therapist, and group peer supervision.

Community Partners’ Clinical Training Program is funded in part with a generous grant from The Quantum Foundation.
