Lending is part of our innovative solutions approach that creates system change. We partner with bank foundations, private foundations, and others to create various lending programs, including down payment assistance. These lending programs help reduce the gap between residents’ maximum mortgage affordability and the high housing prices in Palm Beach County.
Residents who have not owned a home for the past three years and whose income is at or below 120 percent of the Palm Beach County Area Median Income (AMI) for 2018 of $74,300. For lending services, eligible residents must also have a FICO score of at least 600 and a pre-approval letter from a partner lender. (We may be able to help some residents access this approval letter.)
